MegaFon again sees voice connection troubles in Moscow, more cities
MOSCOW, Jun 13 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MegaFon has again registered difficulties in voice connection in Moscow and several other cities, and the call setup success has fallen by 20–30%, the company said on Tuesday in a statement.
“MegaFon’s technical specialists are repairing the network, and traffic is being transferred to reserve channels,” the operator said, adding that connection will be resumed shortly.
The mobile Internet performs faultlessly.
In late May, Hewlett Packard software broke on the networks of MegaFon and its unit Yota, which works as a virtual operator, disrupting connection in Moscow and several big cities in the Volga area.
